Comparing the Effect of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation With Cognitive-Behavioral Intervention on Craving and Resilience of Volunteers for Quitting Addiction

چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to comparison effect of transcranial direct current stimulation (TDCS) with cognitive behavioral management on reduce temptation on craving and increase the level of resilience of methadone intake addicts referring to addiction clinics in Najaf Abad in 2017. Materials and methods:  In order to implement the research, all addicts treated with methadone in in Shahinmehr center in Najafabad city, 45 were selected on purpose basis based on entry and exit criteria and randomly, 15 subjects in the control group and 15 in the experimental group under 10 sessions 20-second consecutive of electrical stimulation of the brain Skin management and temporal cognitive behavioral management were performed on the skull and 15 subjects under 10 sessions of cognitive-behavioral therapy. Before and after the interventions, the Conner-Davidson Resilience Questionnaire (CD-RISC) (2003) and Faddy Craving, Baptism and Ziaee (2008) were delivered to pre-test and post-test. Results: The results of Covariance multi-factor analysis of variance showed that electric stimulation (TDCS) and temporal cognitive-behavioral management lead to decreased craving and increased resiliency (p <0.01. Conclusion: the effect of electrical stimulation (TDCS) on reducing craving and effectiveness Cognitive-behavioral management was a temptation for greater resilience (p <0.01).
